Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project in Norfolk. You will implement and oversee QA management systems across construction, testing, commissioning and handover, and conduct audits to verify compliance.

You will deploy digital field capture tools, support site teams and suppliers, and work with Quality Managers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering site-based QA within highways or high-assurance civil engineering environments.
• Formal auditor qualification or background in regulated highways infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and digital site management capability.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee quality assurance management systems across construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Conduct audits, surveillances, and supply chain assessments to verify quality management arrangements.
• Support construction teams and supply chains in implementing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Field Change processes (RFIs/NCRs).
• Deploy digital assurance tools for field data capture across active sites.
• Collaborate with Quality Managers and project leaders to resolve quality issues and track non-conformances.
