Job summary

Caval Limited in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the production and review of engineering documentation on Highways Frameworks. You will produce RAMS & Job Packs, and plan on MS Projects, etc.

Essential qualifications include CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid. Prior UK highways civils experience as Site/Senior Engineer or Sub Agent is required, with a strong record in QA/QC documentation such as RAMS, ITPs, CPP, RFIs and TQs.

Qualifications

• CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and 3 Day First Aid certification required.
• Experience as Site/Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on UK highways civils schemes.
• Extensive experience producing and reviewing RAMS, QA/QC, ITPs, CPP, RFIs, TQs, etc.

Responsibilities

• RFIs & TQs
• Ensure site records are accurate and kept up to date
• Complete and update programmes (look aheads)
• Produce Inspection & Test Plans and maintain as built records
• Management of the project quality plan
• Liaising with Clients, Subcontractors and other professional staff
• Completing QA / QC Documentation
• Managing the progress of subcontractors
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, Permits, etc
• Working with the Agents to ensure smooth delivery of highways civils schemes
• Reviewing Designs and assessing buildability
• Submitting technical queries

Role

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the production and review of engineering documentation on their Highways Frameworks whilst. Producing RAMS & Job Packs, planning & programming on MS projects, etc

CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and 3 Day First Aid

Experience as a Site / Senior Engineer / Sub Agent on Highways Civils schemes in the UK

Has extensive experience producing and reviewing construction documentation (including RAMS, QA/QC, ITPs, CPP, RFIs, TQs, etc)
