Role: Quality Engineer

Location: Sunderland

Term: Permanent

My innovative engineering client is looking to hire a Quality Engineer.

The Quality Engineer will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • Degree or HND in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Industry experience in a similar quality engineer role within manufacturing engineering
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Experience collaborating with customers and suppliers

The role involves:

  • Working full-time onsite as part of the engineering team
  • Ensuring all products and services meet ISO 9001 standards
  • Conducting quality audits
  • Implementing process improvements as needed
  • Collaborating within a cross-functional team
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities
