Quality Engineer (Business Management System)

Offshore Wind Developer

6 Month (Initial Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance service provider to support the creation of the Business Management System (BMS) and its associated processes.

We are seeking a Contractor Resource who can deliver a scope of work with the following key deliverables:

1. Immediate access to specialized skills & experience in Quality Assurance and the establishment of our Business Management System
2. Additional Quality Assurance resource within the quality team to support adherence to regulatory, legislative & certification requirements
3. Flexible, cost-effective resourcing aligned with the temporary nature of the role.

The service provider is required to provide full-time support (40 hours) across 5 days per week.

While the Contractor will be autonomous in their work, their business contact will be the Quality Manager, responsible for managing the supplier’s contract and ensuring deliverables are met.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Support Offshore Wind colleagues in establishing the Offshore Wind Business Management System (BMS) by:

• Mapping current business processes from cradle to grave
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Defining inputs and outputs of subprocesses to strengthen the stage gate methodology
• Creating procedures to document business processes

Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative, certification, verification, and classification requirements, as well as business needs

Establish effective relationships and collaborate with colleagues to meet key milestones

Promote understanding and adherence to the business management system and ISO certification within the Offshore Wind team

Note: As an independent contractor, the resource will not manage employees or be involved in general management activities of the business.
