Quality Engineer

Reporting To

Production Engineering Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Ensure all quality aspects within your area of responsibility are maintained, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D/PPS.
2. Ensure product, system, and process performance reliability and implement improvements where possible.
3. Work cross-functionally to resolve project-based issues.
4. Support production, engineering, and R&D to meet customer demands.
5. Apply problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC and PPS for continuous improvement and proactive resolution of customer complaints and non-conformances.
6. Maintain the quality management system, conduct process audits, and identify improvement opportunities.
7. Collaborate with teams on new product introductions ensuring timely and flawless launches.
8. Contribute technical expertise to new product design and manufacturing process integration.
9. Use practical problem-solving techniques to improve operational performance.
10. Develop control plans and inspection methods to ensure process reliability.
11. Support daily production operations to meet targets.
12. Work with suppliers to ensure conformity to standards and resolve non-compliance issues.
13. Evaluate operational systems and recommend improvements to prevent malfunctions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of QA support experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in new product introduction and quality assurance.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP.
• Project management skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
• ISO9001 Audit Training (preferred).
