Job summary

Simply Blue Energy seeks a Quality and Document Control Manager to lead the QMS and document control across Erebus and related projects. You will oversee EDMS platforms (Aconex/SharePoint), train staff, and drive continuous improvement to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Based in Bristol with 3 days in the office per week and occasional travel, you will contribute to the wider PES function, sharing best practices and supporting risk and change management across projects.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years in project document control and/or quality management.
• Experience with EDMS/CDE platforms (Aconex, SharePoint, ProjectWise).
• Experience developing and maintaining quality and document management systems.
• Strong knowledge of QA, compliance, auditing, and risk management.
• Excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with multi-priority handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; training others as needed.
• Proactive team player capable of cross-project collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the QMS in line with industry standards and objectives.
• Develop QA processes including metrics, monitoring, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Identify quality, compliance, and document control risks and implement controls.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and drive improvements.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and consistency across the organisation.
• Manage EDMS/CDE platforms, including Aconex and SharePoint, and support system users.
