Simply Blue Energy seeks a Quality and Document Control Manager to lead the QMS and document control across Erebus and related projects. You will oversee EDMS platforms (Aconex/SharePoint), train staff, and drive continuous improvement to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Purpose of the role:
Erebus is a world leading 100 MW test and demonstration floating offshore wind project located off the coast of Pembroke and is being developed by Simply Blue Energy’s Blue Gem Wind project company. Erebus was awarded a CfD in Allocation Round 7 and as a fully consented project now enters late-stage development, targeting a COD in 2030. The project is progressing through project finance structuring towards Financial Close.
The Quality and Document Control Manager will sit within the Project Excellence Solutions (PES) function and will be primarily seconded into the Erebus project, where they will play a key role in supporting the project through this critical stage of development and into execution. The Quality and Document Control Manager will ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and document control procedures, while maintaining accurate and accessible project information.
The successful candidate will oversee the Quality Management System and Document Management System, manage electronic document management platforms including Aconex and SharePoint, support project teams through training and guidance, and drive continuous improvement through effective processes and technology.
Alongside its primary focus on Erebus, the role will contribute to the wider PES function, sharing expertise, lessons learned and best practice to strengthen risk, design risk and change management capability across other projects and the wider organisation.
