This is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. NG Bailey, the UK’s leading independent engineering and services business, are proud to be part of the MEH Alliance, a joint venture to deliver the mechanical, electrical and HVAC installation for the project.
As we grow and progress on the project, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Director to join us on the project in Bridgwater.
This role will ensure that quality is embedded into how the Alliance plans, executes and records its work, enabling the programme to demonstrate that the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC scope has been installed and verified in accordance with nuclear safety and regulatory expectations.

We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers. Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
