AMFRESH Group is hiring a Quality Controller at the Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours, progression, and the chance to contribute to a major fresh produce business.

You will inspect materials, verify product quality, and document findings for the Procurement team. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and the development of your quality-control skills.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Quality Controller at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours, consistent work and opportunities to develop your skills within a large global fresh produce business.

• Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – 07:00–19:00
• Hourly Rate: £13.70, paid weekly – starting salary with clear progression within the role

As a Quality Controller, you will help ensure our fresh produce meets the standards our customers expect. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting incoming raw materials and recording your findings accurately.
• Checking products against customer specifications.
• Reporting serious quality concerns promptly to managers.
• Preparing inspection reports for our Procurement team.
• Completing paper and tablet-based records, meeting targets for accuracy, compliance and productivity.

About You

You will take pride in maintaining high standards, spot details others might miss and be confident raising concerns. Previous experience in a food quality role is helpful but not essential.
