Job summary

AMFRESH Group is seeking a Line Leader at the Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours and a path to develop leadership skills through our Line Leader Academy Masterclass.

You will lead a line, ensure safety and quality, monitor targets, complete paperwork, and hand over to the next shift. Training and support help you grow into a long-term leadership role.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Line Leader at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours, consistent work and opportunities to build a career within a large global fresh produce business.

Good with people and ready to take the next step? Our Line Leader Academy Masterclass provides the training, knowledge and confidence to help you succeed, even if you have never led a production line before.

• Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – 07:00–19:30
• Hourly Rate: £13.70–£14.90 depending on experience, paid weekly, with opportunities to earn more as your skills and responsibilities develop.

As a Line Leader, you will support your team and keep your production line running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Organising the work on your line and providing clear direction and support to General Operatives.
• Monitoring performance against production targets and identifying ways to improve.
• Completing production paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out floor checks and ensuring safe working practices, including correct use of PPE.
• Providing a clear handover to the next shift.

About You

You do not need previous production line leadership experience to apply. We are looking for people who communicate clearly, work well with others and are ready to learn.

You may have supported colleagues, trained new starters, organised tasks or helped a team work towards a shared goal. Experience from other industries is welcome, and previous leadership experience is helpful but not essential.
