Job summary

AMFRESH Group is hiring a Quality Controller at the Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours, progression, and the chance to contribute to a major fresh produce business.

You will inspect materials, verify product quality, and document findings for the Procurement team. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and the development of your quality-control skills.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and an accurate approach to record keeping.
• Ability to organise workload and complete tasks independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and record findings accurately.
• Check products against customer specifications.
• Report serious quality concerns promptly to managers.
• Prepare inspection reports for the Procurement team.
• Complete paper and tablet-based records, meeting targets for accuracy, compliance and productivity.
