Job summary

JCT600 Ltd is seeking a Progress Chaser / Quality Control at our Accident Repair Centre in Sheffield. You will support and organise the flow of work through the workshop, acting as the main communication hub between front of house and workshop, while maintaining a sharp focus on paint and bodywork quality to ensure vehicles are repaired right first time and on schedule.

Your day-to-day involves tracking progress, chasing parts and signoffs, updating colleagues on completion dates, and helping

Qualifications

• Excellent eye for detail with paint and bodywork quality.
• Strong communication between front of house and workshop.
• Well organised with a methodical workflow approach.
• Able to stay calm and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good team player with collaoration across levels.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on paintwork and bodywork at key stages, addressing defects.
• Monitor workshop flow, track progress against target completion dates.
• Act as the main contact between front of house and workshop, relaying updates clearly.
• Chase parts, signoffs and other requirements to keep jobs moving.
• Update colleagues on progress and likely completion dates.
• Support the team to meet deadlines and maintain a safe, organised environment.
