Job summary

NewCold in Corby is seeking a proactive Quality Control & Warehouse Inventory Associate to ensure accurate recording of customer stock within our automated warehouse environment. You will conduct monthly/regular stock audits, investigate discrepancies, and support stock control across the facility to maintain high accuracy.

This role blends hands-on warehouse duties with administrative tasks, requires attention to detail, strong communication with clients and teammates, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory, stock control, or quality assurance within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong communications skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Competent in using Warehouse Management Systems (MLS) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High levels of physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks regularly.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control and quality assurance across all processes in the warehouse.
• Log, investigate, and report stock discrepancies to clients.
• Carry out regular stock counts and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Investigate missing or mislabelled pallets and resolve root causes.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload pallets.
• Respond to customer queries and liaise with clients on stock movements and allocations.
