Job summary

Recruit4staff are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join an established meat products manufacturer in Welshpool. You will work to ensure products meet safety and quality standards, performing inspections and maintaining records.

The role offers Monday–Friday shifts with various options and a permanent contract, paying £16.00–£19.00 per hour DOE. You will collaborate with production teams to uphold HACCP and GMP procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Control Technician or similar role in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, ISO 22000 or other food safety systems.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and manufacturing quality standards.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meat products meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections, monitor production processes and perform testing.
• Maintain accurate quality records and report quality concerns.
