Job description

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee Quality Control of MRO, Surface Treatment and Assembly and test: Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout all production phases.

• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of shop quality engineers and quality inspectors, ensuring they meet their targets and objectives.

• Non-Quality Cost Management: Track, analyze, and report on non-quality costs, including rejections and reworks. Implement strategies to reduce these costs.

• Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)

• Improvement Plans: Develop and execute continuous improvement plans aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency.

• Internal Audits and Spot Checks: Conduct regular internal audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and procedures.

• External Audit Support: Assist in preparing for and supporting external audits to ensure successful compliance and certification with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field

• Proven experience (5+ years) in quality control within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a team quality engineers and inspectors.

• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (RCCA).

• Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (AS 9001).

• Desirable knowledge on EASA/CAA Part 21 & Part 145.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software.
