Quality Control Manager

Location: Blackpool

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits

Reed Food & FMCG are partnering with a great business looking to find an exceptional Quality Control Manager. Overseeing all aspects of QC, you will ensure that all products meet compliance, industry standards, and customer requirements.

The successful Quality Control Manager will manage all QC personnel, including technologists and chemists, so you must have demonstrable team management experience from a similar environment.

You will be responsible for the inspection and testing of all raw materials and packaging, as well as the analysis and approval of all products.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or similar)
2. Detailed knowledge of quality standards including BRC, ISO9001, and cGMP
3. HACCP & Food Safety certification
4. Proven experience in a QC/Lab environment within Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing
5. Experience participating in external audits
6. Working knowledge of ERP systems
7. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

It would also be highly beneficial if you have knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma or 5Y.
