Reed Food & FMCG is partnering with a reputable business seeking an exceptional Quality Control Manager. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of QC to ensure that all products meet compliance, industry standards, and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will manage all QC personnel, including technologists and chemists, demonstrating team management experience in a similar environment.

Your responsibilities will include inspecting and testing raw materials and packaging, as well as analyzing and approving all products.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related field
2. Detailed knowledge of quality standards such as BRC, ISO9001, and cGMP
3. HACCP & Food Safety certification
4. Proven experience in a QC/Lab environment within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
5. Experience participating in external audits
6. Working knowledge of ERP systems
7. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Additional knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvement techniques like Six Sigma or 5Y is highly beneficial.
