Position Details:

• Working Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:15am-5:15pm (4-day week)
• Salary: Competitive + Overtime (1.5x basic rate)
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:

HG Engineering is recruiting experienced Quality Control Inspectors to join a long-established manufacturer of high-quality machined parts for sectors including Aerospace and Oil & Gas. This is a permanent dayshift position with a 4-day work week, offering excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of final parts
• Use a variety of measuring tools, including CMM
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Complete inspection reports for sign-off
• Support production with general machining and feedback on errors

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CMM Programming (QCT preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards, NCR reporting, and calibration
• Ability to document and report quality issues and customer feedback
