Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Quality and Contracts Officer for a 12‑month secondment at County Hall, Leicester. The role focuses on monitoring providers, driving quality improvement and ensuring compliance with contracts to deliver better services for residents.

You will work with the Quality and Contracts team to support adult social care providers, prepare reports, and manage risk while building strong, collaborative relationships with partners.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in social care or health services.
• Experience in preparing written and financial reports.
• Understanding of operational risk management.
• Ability to collaboratively address performance issues with providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service providers and contractual arrangements for performance and compliance.
• Support providers of adult social care to improve practice and performance.
• Support providers to meet objectives and improve service quality.
• Ensure positive outcomes for people and carers by ensuring contractual terms are followed.
