Job summary

Gleeson Homes is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of our quality and compliance framework. You will establish a robust QMS, embed standards across Construction, Technical, Commercial, Health & Safety, Land, Planning, Sales, and Customer Care, and provide independent assurance to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and managing Quality Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, governance and risk management.
• Experience leading audits, investigations and compliance reviews.
• Proven track record of driving improvement programmes and organisational change.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles.

Responsibilities

• Leading the launch, management and continuous improvement of the Gleeson Homes Quality Management System (QMS).
• Managing document control processes, ensuring policies, procedures and standards remain current and effective.
• Embedding quality standards and controls across Construction, Technical, Commercial, Health & Safety, Land, Planning, Sales & Marketing and Customer Care functions.
• Developing and delivering an annual Quality & Compliance Assurance Programme.
• Conducting audits, investigations and compliance reviews across regional and central functions.
• Providing assurance and reporting to senior leadership on compliance performance, governance and risk.
• Analysing audit outcomes, customer feedback, complaints, defects and compliance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Driving business-wide continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce risk and improve customer outcomes.
• Acting as the subject matter expert for quality, compliance and governance matters.
• Supporting the design and delivery of quality and compliance training programmes.
• Producing management information, governance reporting and performance analysis for leadership teams and relevant committees.
• Managing supplier and subcontractor quality assessments and supporting supply chain improvement activities.
• Supporting the integration of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety management systems across the business.
• Knowledge of Lean process improvement methodologies.
• Previous experience within a volume housebuilding environment.
• Generous holiday entitlement of 26 days per annum + bank holidays
