FormelD are happy to announce the expansion requirements in our team.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Auditor Team Leader to join the FormelD Operations team.

Industry: Vehicle Manufacturing

Location: OEM Site in Solihull/Fulltime onsite

Base: Manufacturing facility, off-site or satellite operations

Shifts: 3 Shift Rotation with possible Weekend requirements

Pay Rate: £13.50ph + Shift Allowance for Nights, Overtime and Weekend work

For you to be successful in this position you will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting to ensure customer containment and rework activities are successfully delivered on-time and at the right cost and quality ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded at all times
  • Support achievement of Customer Key Project Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Supervising a team of permanent Quality Inspectors and temporary support requirements as well as ad-hoc team members, such as Mechanics, Electricians
  • Responsible for ensuring all team members are adequately trained and are provided with all necessary tools to perform their duties to the best of their ability
  • Ensuring successful coordination, organisation and execution of quality containment and rework projects to protect the OEM’s production
  • Ensuring all acceptable parts are passed to or accepted on-line ensuring no disruption is caused to the customers build for which Formel D would be held responsible
  • Training & setting the standard requirements for the team on all quality inspection/reworking activities to company standards including the use of and application of eQCC (Formel D’s Electronic Data Management System)
  • Conducting random checks and audits to ensure process adherence and to ensure compliance with test results and quality standards
  • Creating Statement of Work for all projects of reworking and Quality Inspection activities
  • Inspect and rework parts as and when required
  • Ensuring eQCC is used for data capture for all inspection and rework projects
  • Liaising directly with the OEM and Customers / Suppliers (internal and external)
  • Support to ensure Timesheets are accurately delivered 100% on-time
  • Be an advocate to ensure unnecessary waste is kept to a minimum
  • Accidents: Support to ensure all accidents are reported on shift
  • Accident Prevention: Support to ensure near misses are reported and encourage accident prevention
  • Procedures & Reporting: Support to ensure on-site accident procedures are followed
  • Be an advocate for continuous improvement, constantly looking for opportunity to improve all aspects of our service
  • Promote and develop relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Support to ensure standard HR processes are followed to document and resolve employee performance and discipline issues

Requirements:

  • Experienced working with OEM’s and Suppliers in the Automotive industry.
  • Previous proven experience in a similar position
  • Highly experienced in conducting and supporting quality audits
  • Exceptional leader and mentor – Leading the team by example
  • Experienced customer management experience
  • Good working knowledge of eQCC equipment
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Motivate the team ensuring full engagement in the company and on specific projects to which they are assigned
  • Motivated, to learn and progress
  • Good communication skills, teamworking abilities and driven takes initiative to succeed
  • Adhering to all Company standard operating procedures
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures
  • Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards
  • Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
  • RTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
