Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group in Fareham, UK, seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to own the QMS, drive compliance with ISO9001, and support engineering and product development teams across hardware, software and firmware.

You will lead internal and external audits, manage quality documentation, and partner with engineering to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle, shaping standards and processes with scope for career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and quality management systems.
• Experience implementing and developing QMS/BMS systems.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Ability to analyse data and report findings clearly.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Structured, methodical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Collaborative mindset with engineering teams on quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and support progression toward additional standards.
• Act as the main QA contact for customers across pre-sales, production, and failure analysis.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues and non-conformities.
• Plan and manage internal and external audit activities.
• Monitor performance through audits, reviews, and customer feedback.
• Produce and maintain quality documentation, reports, and procedures.
• Work with engineering to embed quality across the product lifecycle.
