Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager for a highly regulated engineering business in Aylesbury. You will own the QMS, lead audits and drive continuous improvement across functions.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with ISO 9001 experience, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence on the shop floor. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior Quality role
• Experience managing or maintaining an ISO 9001 QMS
• Experience within a highly regulated industry
• A background in engineering, fabrication or metalwork manufacturing
• Strong experience with NCR, Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions
• Experience planning and conducting internal and external audits
• A HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A practical, hands-on approach to quality and continuous improvement
• Experience with LEAN / Continuous Improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

• Maintain and lead the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Lead NCR processes and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Monitor quality performance and produce key metrics/reports.
• Review and maintain company procedures for compliance.
• Plan and lead internal and external audits.
• Support ISO 9001 accreditation maintenance.
• Collaborate with Procurement to assess subcontractors.
• Support LEAN, CI and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Provide training on quality tools and problem-solving.
• Lead and support the Quality team as required.
