Job summary

Capital One UK is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join a fast-paced team in Nottingham office. This role ensures QA processes, conducts risk-mitigating testing, and supports change initiatives with strong coaching across the team.

You will lead calibration sessions, perform root-cause analyses, manage QA platforms, and help embed governance. The role blends hands-on QA with mentoring, and offers hybrid working with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Proven QA experience within regulated finance and risk management.
• Ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders with clear reports.
• Proven mentoring, onboarding, and upskilling teammates.
• Strong organizational skills and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor complex, high-risk workstreams and ensure QA adherence across channels.
• Design, maintain, and govern frontline QA methodologies and frameworks.
• Lead calibration sessions and deliver actionable insights to leaders.
• Onboard and mentor new QA hires to achieve time-to-competency.
• Track departmental deliverables, SLAs, and resolve process breakdowns.
