Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a Quality Officer to join the Quality team at the Axiom Veterinary Laboratory, Manor House, Newton Abbot, Devon, United Kingdom. The role focuses on maintaining ISO-aligned quality and coordinating audits, documentation, and improvements across two sites.

You will map equipment, calibrate monitors, perform internal audits, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring clear records and effective cross-team communication. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Map temperature controlled equipment and perform ongoing checks.
• Maintain and calibrate temperature monitoring equipment.
• Run a robust audit schedule across site and sister site when needed.
• Drive quality improvement and continual improvements to procedures.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Keep clear, accurate records and SOP-compliant documentation.
• Communicate with colleagues and departments to promote quality.
