Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Officer in Social Care!

Location: David Lewis Warford Site

Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to support our Residential, Education, and Day Services. In this crucial role, you will help maintain and enhance the quality of care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the people using our services.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Compliance – Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure all services meet regulatory, legislative, and internal quality standards.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement – Conduct audits, assess service performance, and implement action plans to enhance quality.
  • Engaging with Stakeholders – Collaborate with people using our services, families, and external professionals to gather insights and drive positive change.
  • Supporting Leadership – Assist service leads in governance processes, quality audits, and compliance systems to maintain high standards of care.
  • Training & Development – Help design and deliver training that fosters a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and empowerment.
  • Safeguarding & Wellbeing – Ensure safeguarding policies are upheld, promoting a safe, person-centered environment for all people using our services.

What We’re Looking For

  • Attention to Detail & Analytical Thinking – Ability to assess services, identify both areas of good practice and areas for improvement, and ensure best practices.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Confident in engaging with colleagues, families, and regulatory bodies.
  • Proactive & Independent Worker – Skilled in managing workload, meeting audit targets, and taking initiative.
  • Experience in Social Care & Education – Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices in health, social care, and education settings. The ideal candidate will have previous experiences working within the health and social care sector.
  • Commitment to Excellence – Passionate about maintaining and exceeding quality standards using a person-centered approach.
