Job summary

Construction is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA activities across the UK, driving improvements and ensuring ISO 9001 compliance. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and manages a small team, with home-based work and national travel.

The successful candidate will shape quality standards across infrastructure and related services, delivering impact at a group level. Experience in QA, ISO 9001 management, and a track record of process enhancement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management or Business Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 management systems.
• Good communication and influencing skills with stakeholders.
• CQI membership or Lead Auditor qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop quality assurance activities across multiple units and locations in the UK.
• Review and improve quality management systems, policies and processes for consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the COO and senior leadership on business improvement initiatives.
• Oversee internal and external auditing programmes, including ISO 9001.
• Manage and develop a team of three and support their growth.
• Build relationships with operational teams to improve processes and performance.
• Monitor quality performance and provide senior management reporting.
