Marble Talent Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function in a precision engineering environment. The role covers ISO 9001, customer and supplier quality, inspection, non-conformance and continual improvement. You will work closely with customers and production teams to drive quality excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and proven experience in leading quality initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as Quality Manager/Engineer in precision engineering/manufacturing.
  • Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
  • Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and dimensional tolerancing.
  • Experience with precision machining, CNC manufacturing or similar processes.
  • Experience with NCR, 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Experience with internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Manage internal, external and customer audits.
  • Act as the key quality contact for customers.
  • Manage customer complaints, returns, concessions and corrective actions.
  • Lead 8D, RCA, CAPA and NCR processes.
  • Identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements.
  • Oversee inspection, testing and product release.
  • Manage FAI/FAIR, inspection plans and control plans.
  • Maintain calibration, measurement and traceability systems.
  • Support CMM, metrology and precision inspection activities.
  • Manage supplier quality and supplier corrective actions.
  • Monitor quality KPIs including scrap, rework and Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement and quality projects.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. The role will have responsibility for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, customer quality, supplier quality, inspection, non-conformance and continual improvement. The successful candidate will be technically strong, commercially aware and comfortable working directly with both customers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Manage internal, external and customer audits.
  • Act as the key quality contact for customers.
  • Manage customer complaints, returns, concessions and corrective actions.
  • Lead 8D, RCA, CAPA and NCR processes.

  • Support FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and MSA activities where applicable.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or similar within precision engineering/manufacturing.
  • Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
  • Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and dimensional tolerancing.
  • Experience with precision machining, CNC manufacturing or similar engineering processes.
  • Experience with CMMs and precision measurement equipment is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of NCR, 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Experience with internal auditing and external certification audits.
  • Knowledge of SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP and PPAP desirable.
  • Engineering or quality-related qualification desirable.
