Job description

Due to an internal move, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead assurance, governance and compliance activities that support safe, effective and high-quality services for our residents.

As part of the Risk & Assurance Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering quality assurance frameworks, coordinating assurance activity for regulatory compliance, managing audit programmes, overseeing self-assessments, and leading learning from reviews, incidents and investigations.

A key part of the role is maintaining the integrity, independence and credibility of the assurance function through a fair, transparent and evidence-led approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence quality, assurance and regulatory compliance across a large and diverse resident-focused organisation. You'll play a key role in strengthening assurance, supporting better decision-making and ensuring learning and continuous improvement remain at the heart of what we do.

If you're passionate about using insight, assurance and constructive challenge to improve services and outcomes for residents, we'd love to hear from you.

To meet our commitment to providing safe, high-quality services to our customers we will complete an Enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service once an offer of employment has been made.TPBN1_UKTJ

We are looking for an experienced assurance professional who combines strong technical expertise with credibility, sound judgement and a collaborative leadership style.

You will bring:
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with responsibility for quality assurance, governance, compliance or audit.
  • Proven management experience within quality assurance, audit, governance, service improvement or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, ideally within housing, social care or a similarly regulated sector.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate findings into meaningful recommendations.
  • Experience leading audits, investigations, reviews and organisational learning activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.
  • A commitment to fairness, transparency and evidence-based decision making.
  • A proven ability to drive improvement through assurance findings, insight and learning.
