Leo Recruitment Limited is hiring a Software Test Engineer to join a growing software company in the UK. You will work closely with developers, product specialists and DevOps to shape test coverage and improve quality across web, mobile and API-based applications.

The role combines manual testing with automation, across varied projects, in an Agile setting. Hybrid working, earnings up to £40k, and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing across web/mobile/API.
• Ability to create structured test cases and communicate defects clearly.
• Experience managing test plans and defects within modern software workflows.
• SQL knowledge for database validation and testing.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Postman, Selenium and AWS is useful.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QA, development, product and DevOps to share responsibility for quality.
• Engage in manual, exploratory and automated testing across multiple platforms.
• Shape test coverage and contribute to risk identification during the Agile delivery cycle.
• Define and implement structured test cases and report outcomes clearly.
• Support the evolution of tools and processes to improve quality in production environments.
