Job summary

Savant Recruitment Experts is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team in London. You will act as a quality lead across the software lifecycle, defining test strategies, driving automation, and coordinating UAT with stakeholders.

The role involves mentoring colleagues, promoting QA standards, and driving continuous improvement across delivery teams in a hybrid setting. Strong hands-on testing, automation skills and Azure DevOps usage are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on testing and automation experience.
• Lead QA across the software delivery lifecycle, define test strategies and drive automation.
• Mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies aligned to requirements, scope and risk.
• Plan and execute manual, automated and exploratory testing.
• Design and maintain automated test suites and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, API, performance, accessibility and security testing.
• Lead and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.
• Manage defects, triage issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks and release readiness.
• Use Azure DevOps or equivalent for test and defect management.
• Promote testability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to QA standards, frameworks and continuous improvement across teams.
• Coach and mentor other QA engineers and provide quality leadership where required.
• Strong software testing experience within Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD.
• Experience across functional, regression, API and UAT testing.
• Strong defect management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience contributing to testing strategy and quality standards.
