Job summary

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a major civil engineering project in Retford, Nottinghamshire on a long-term freelance contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background, experience with ITPs and quality procedures, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of project quality procedures.
• Carry out inspections and quality checks.
• Manage and maintain quality documentation and records.
• Work with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Identify and report quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Liaise with site management, engineers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Support the overall delivery of quality standards across the project.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a major civil engineering project in Retford.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity, with an initial contract of 18 months and potential for further work. The successful candidate will work as part of the project team on a large-scale construction site, supporting the delivery of works to the required quality standards and specifications.
