Job summary

Animal and Plant Health Agency is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor and Advisor to support accreditations, certifications and regulatory compliance. You will plan and deliver audits, review non-conformances, and promote the Agency's electronic quality management system.

You will work with Quality Services to build a consistent quality framework across four main standards (ISO 17025, ISO 17020, ISO 9001 and GxP) and advise on accreditation scope extensions.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and experience of quality standards and internal quality auditing.
• Trained internal auditor or willingness to undertake specialist training.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, able to identify issues and report clearly.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver quality assurance audits across the Agency.
• Review non-conformances and procedural documentation; raise findings.
• Promote use of the electronic quality management system for visibility of issues.
• Engage with stakeholders to support accreditation scope extensions and improvements.
• Provide advice and support for quality systems and change control.
• Contribute to management reviews and produce quality-related documentation.
• Offer training and guidance on quality assurance matters.
• Travel around Agency locations with some overnight stays.
