Job summary

APHA is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor & Advisor to support accreditations, certifications and regulatory compliance across the Agency. The role focuses on ISO 17025, ISO 17020, ISO 9001 and GxP frameworks, working with operational teams in the Animal and Plant Delivery Services Directorate.

You will plan and deliver audits, review non-conformances and documentation, and promote the digital quality management system to ensure visibility of findings and continual improvement across work

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver quality assurance audits and review documentation.
• Assist in management of external audits and training briefings to share best practice.
• Monitor QA checks and non-conformances; compile quarterly returns for governance.
• Identify risks and opportunities; advise on actions to support a consistent quality framework.
• Advise on accreditation scope extensions, quality system improvements and change control.
• Review Agency documentation and produce quality-related documentation.
• Engage in management reviews and present to senior management.
• Provide QA training and guidance to staff.
• Promote use of the Agency’s electronic quality management system.
