Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Chelmsford is looking for a passionate KS2 Class Teacher with QTS to join a friendly Primary School on a full-time basis. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons and ensure pupils make progress across the KS2 curriculum.

You will assess progress, maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and support children of all abilities, including those with SEND. The role offers a supportive team and PAYE earnings.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a Primary School setting.
• Ability to plan and deliver across the KS2 curriculum.

Salary: £140 - £180 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and inclusive Primary School in the Chelmsford area that is looking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher.

The school provides a nurturing and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential. They place a strong emphasis on inclusion, pupil wellbeing and high-quality teaching, with excellent support available from an experienced and committed staff team.

The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a KS2 class on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and ensuring that children of all abilities are supported effectively.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a Primary School setting.
• Confidence teaching and planning across the KS2 curriculum.
• High expectations for pupils of all abilities, including SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to teaching.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team.
