Qualified Social Worker
Adult - Community
Location: Greater Manchester
Pay rate: £30 per hour
We are looking for experienced and passionate Qualified Social Workers to join the Community Adults service. This is a full-time post (36 hours) with hybrid working. You will undertake safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning. You will be supported by an experienced team manager and benefit from regular supervision and group reflective sessions.

Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions, establishing and maintaining relationships with service users and agencies to meet needs.

You will be committed to positive and sustainable outcomes, striving to provide the best for children and families, with a focus on protection and efficiency.

Ideal candidate:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree
- Experience in Social Services or voluntary agencies
- Strong mediation and negotiation skills
- Experience with diverse client groups
- Ability to build meaningful relationships
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- 4+ years qualified experience

In this role, you will:
- Assess risks and social care needs
- Manage caseloads
- Use communication skills for positive outcomes
- Develop individual care plans
- Support and advise staff and students
