Job Description:

An exciting job role has recently become available at Salford City Council. They are looking for a new member for their Older People Mental Health team.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and identifying pathways for older people that align with their needs and those of their families. You will ensure all recordings are up to date and person-focused, reflecting the voice of the individual and the impact of their daily lived experience. Engaging in individual and group supervision with practice managers and leads will be a key part of your duties. You will attend multi-agency meetings, reviews, and conferences as required, representing the Local Authority in both Private and Public Law proceedings. Additionally, you will assess, evaluate, and review programs of work with older people and their families, including coordinating services for those in care or subject to multi-agency protection plans.

Qualifications and Experiences:

To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
