We are looking for experienced and passionate Qualified Social Workers to join a dedicated Assessment & Intervention team. As part of this authority’s Assessment & Intervention service, you will work in a busy, supportive team assessing and working with children and families, intervening where children need support to provide earlier help. The role involves carrying out Section 47 Enquiries, progressing cases to Initial Child Protection Conference, and working with children in need, while planning for permanence from day one. Assessment work involves direct engagement with children and families, partnering with agencies including police and health to ensure the best outcomes and sustainable positive change.
