Smile Education is recruiting for a Qualified Teacher to join a large, supportive special school in Tamworth. You will deliver differentiated lessons to pupils aged 11–19 with EHCPs and work with Teaching Assistants in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Both primary- and secondary-trained teachers will be considered. The role requires strong behaviour management, a patient approach, and a commitment to a full-time ongoing position. DBS checks and references will be required.

Formación

• QTS required; primary and secondary-trained teachers considered.
• Experience teaching students with SEND.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks and DBS process.
• Satisfactory references and compliance checks required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
• Establish positive relationships with students to promote confidence and engagement.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to development and achievement.
• Remain flexible to changing school needs.
