Job summary

Connex Education in Birmingham is seeking an experienced SENCO for a full-time role in a well-established secondary school in South Birmingham. You will lead SEND provision, manage EHCP reviews, and work with staff, families and external partners to ensure high-quality support for students with additional needs.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, NASENCO (or willingness to work towards it) and demonstrates strong leadership, communication and organisational skills to drive inclusive practice across

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join a welcoming and well-established secondary school in South Birmingham to start asap.
This is a full-time SENCO job position and offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious SEND professional to play a key role in shaping inclusive practice across the school. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, teachers, support staff, external agencies and families to ensure that students with special educational needs receive the highest quality support and provision.
The school is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable SENCO who combines strong organisational skills with a genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people.
The SENCO Job Role
As SENCO, you will:

Role Requirements

• QTS – Qualified Teaching Status
• Previous experience working in Educational is essential.
