The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is supported to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Teaching in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of individual pupils
• Creating an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
• Assessing, monitoring and recording pupil progress
• Providing constructive feedback to support pupil development
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively
• Building strong and positive relationships with pupils
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
• Supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting learning appropriately
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and progress
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/carers where required
• Contributing to planning, assessment and wider school activities
• Supporting the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
• Following school policies and procedures
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
