Job summary

Huntsbury Preschool Incorporated Canterbury is seeking a certified ECE teacher for a permanent, part-time role up to 0.7 FTTE. You will be part of a caring team dedicated to tamariki and whanau, teaching with heart and forming strong relationships on site.

The successful candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and operate with a commitment to inclusion and well-being in a not-for-profit community preschool with a 2–5 year old licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified and permitted to work in New Zealand.
• Certified ECE teacher with ability to teach with heart and build strong relationships.
• Knowledge of Te Whāriki and current ECE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Teach and care for tamariki in a part-time capacity.
• Develop strong relationships with tamariki and their whānau.
• Ensure compliance with Te Whāriki and current ECE regulations.

Huntsbury Preschool has an opportunity for a certified ECE teacher to become a permanent part-time team member. We would like a caring kaiako, who can teach with heart and develop strong relationships with tamariki and theirwhānau.

You will need to demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE regulations,Te Whārikiand hold compliance in a high regard.

Huntsbury Preschool is a not-for-profit community preschool. We have 2-5 year old tamariki, with a licence limit of 30 on site. We have opted into full pay parity and have an experienced and supportive team.

Those applying will need to be qualified and permitted to work in New Zealand.

This position will be up to 30 hours per week (between 7.45am-4pm). We would consider students in their final year of study and beginning teachers for this position.
