The Enchanted Garden is seeking a passionate, motivated, and positive registered teacher to join our preschool team for a full‑time maternity cover position.

The opportunity

This role runs from November 2026 to May 2027 and focuses on our beautiful group of 2–5‑year‑old tamariki. We are a warm, close‑knit centre with 33 children across our nursery and preschool, and we pride ourselves on providing a calm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where relationships come first.

Our centre offers high‑quality care and stimulating educational experiences supported by low ratios, strong teamwork, and a culture that values joy, kindness, and professionalism.

The candidate

We are looking for a ‘can‑do’ teacher with energy, flexibility, and a great sense of humour—someone who communicates confidently with colleagues and whānau, contributes positively to our centre culture, and goes the extra mile to support children’s learning, wellbeing, and belonging.
