Job summary

Simply Education Ltd in Peterborough is seeking Qualified Nursery Practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) to support children across Peterborough and surrounding areas. Flexible, long-term and temp-to-perm opportunities offered with daily rates of £90-£115.

You will help create a happy, safe, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn and grow, while building strong relationships with families and the nursery team.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Experience in nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of EYFS
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach

As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you'll be part of those everyday moments that matter enormously to young children - encouraging their first friendships, helping them discover something new, settling them when they need reassurance and making learning feel fun.

What will you be doing?

You’ll support children throughout their nursery day, helping to create a happy, safe and stimulating environment where they can explore, play and develop.

Your role may include:

• Planning and supporting age-appropriate activities
• Encouraging learning through play and exploration
• Supporting children’s communication, social and emotional development
• Following the EYFS framework
• Observing and contributing to children’s learning and development
• Supporting routines including meals, outdoor play and personal care
• Building warm, professional relationships with children, colleagues and families

What are we looking for?

For these Qualified Nursery Practitioner opportunities, you’ll need:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Previous experience within a nursery or early years environment
• A good understanding of the EYFS
• A warm, patient and nurturing approach
