Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a full-time Qualified Nursery Practitioner in Macclesfield to work on a temporary basis with ongoing placements. The role involves delivering engaging activities in line with EYFS and supporting children's development.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 2/3 Early Years qualification, have at least 6 months nursery experience, and demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication within a team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred).
• Minimum of 6 months' nursery experience.
• Good knowledge of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with children.

Salary: £13.75 - £16 per hour

These settings provide safe, caring and stimulating environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, build confidence and reach key developmental milestones with the support of passionate Early Years professionals.

We are looking for a full-time Qualified Nursery Practitioner to work on a temporary basis with opportunities for ongoing placements. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across a variety of age groups, deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, promote positive behaviour and help create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

The successful Qualified Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred)
• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a nursery setting
• Good knowledge of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with children
• A caring, enthusiastic and engaging approach to supporting children's development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
