Job summary

Zero2Five Early Years Recruitment are recruiting for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner for an Outstanding setting near Hertford, Hertfordshire. The role is permanent and offers 18–40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with options for full or part-time work.

You will plan and deliver engaging play-based learning, observe progress and ensure children’s safety and happiness. A DfE-approved Early Years qualification at Level 2+ is required, with Right to Work in the UK essential.

Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm
£27,040–£32,427.20 per annum (pro rata)
£13.00–£15.59 per hour

You’ll need to:

• Hold a DfE-approved Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS
• Be confident planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning opportunities
• Be able to observe, assess and record children’s progress
• Put children’s safety, wellbeing and happiness at the heart of everything you do
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Be a collaborative, caring and enthusiastic team member
• Applicants must currently live within a commutable distance of the nursery and have suitable Right to Work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
