Job summary

Zero2Five Early Years Recruitment is partnering with a well-established nursery near Hemel Hempstead to recruit a Qualified Nursery Practitioner. The role spans 36–40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with 7:30am–6:30pm shifts and occasional 4 or 5 day weeks. Part-time options are also available.

You’ll hold a recognised Level 2/3+ qualification and be committed to delivering high-quality, play-based learning in a supportive team environment while safeguarding children.

• Qualified early years professional with Level 2/3 or above.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Passion for helping children learn and wellbeing.

Qualified Nursery Practitioner - Hemel Hempstead

£27,040–£32,427.20 per annum (pro rata) - £13.00–£15.59 per hour!

Permanent position - 36–40 hours per week - 52 weeks per year

Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6:30pm - 4 or 5 day week

Part-time opportunities also available!

7:30am–10:00am or 4:00pm–6:30pm, Monday–Friday.

About You

You’ll be a qualified early years professional with a recognised Level 2, Level 3 or above Qualification, and a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a good understanding of the EYFS
• Can create engaging, play‑based learning opportunities
• Is passionate about safeguarding and children's wellbeing
• Builds positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
