Job summary

The Learning Experience is opening its first state-of-the-art setting in the UK. We invite a friendly, spirited Lunchtime Assistant to join our Nursery and support children's development during lunchtime.

You will cover from 11am to 2pm, deliver high-quality care, and work with nursery teams to ensure safety and well-being while engaging children in enriching activities.

Qualifications

• Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.

Responsibilities

• Join our Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
• Cover the hours between approximately 11am and 2pm.
• Deliver care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• Fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• Create enriching environments with engaging activities for indoor and outdoor growth.
• Follow British Values embedded in Core Advantage, LEAP, and the Early Years Foundation Stage learning; adhere to safeguarding policies.

This role requires a Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.

• With a flexible approach, you'll fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.


• By creating enriching environments filled with engaging activities, you'll foster indoor and outdoor growth.


• Guided by British Values embedded in Core Advantage, LEAP, and Early Years Foundation Stage learning, you'll ensure a holistic education experience. Safety remains paramount, as you'll adhere to child protection and health and safety policies, safeguarding children's well‑being.

What we ideally require from you:

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.


• Required - Level 2 or Above Qualification in Early Years


• Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.


• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.


• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision‑making.


• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.


• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.


• Motivated and deadline‑driven, particularly in children's record‑keeping and assessment
