The Learning Experience UK in Leatherhead is seeking a Lunchtime Assistant to join our nursery team as Lunch Cover. You’ll provide care and support development, ensuring health and safety during lunchtime hours.

This role requires a Level 2 or above in Early Years, a valid right to work in the UK, and a collaborative approach with our leadership team. You will work around 10am to 3pm, helping create engaging activities and safe, inclusive environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards and room preparation.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.

Responsabilités

• In this pivotal role, you'll cover the hours between approximately 10am and 3pm
• Your role involves delivering exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• With a flexible approach, you'll fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• By creating enriching environments filled with engaging activities, you'll foster indoor and outdoor growth.

What we ideally require from you:

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Required - Level 2 or Above Qualification in Early Years
• Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment
