Job summary

The Learning Experience seeks a friendly Lunchtime Assistant to support children during the 10am–3pm window, delivering caring and safe lunchtimes in a welcoming setting.

Applicants should hold Level 2 (or higher) in Early Years, have strong hygiene practices, and be prepared for a DBS check. Experience in early years and safeguarding awareness are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.
• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good' or 'Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
• DBS check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Cover lunchtime hours (approximately 10am–3pm).

Your Duties

• We invite a friendly, spirited individual to join our Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
• In this pivotal role, you'll cover the hours between approximately 10am and 3pm
• Your role involves delivering exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• With a flexible approach, you'll fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• By creating enriching environments filled with engaging activities, you'll foster indoor and outdoor growth.

What We Ideally Require From You
